Heart Disease is America's Number One Killer.

Right now as you read this, someone has just died.

Traditional medicine does not typically practice prevention and wellness. The traditional medical approach is to wait until a person is diseased or sick and then provide treatment in hopes of bringing the patient back to health.  Unfortunately this traditional medical approach does not work too well for a serious killer like heart disease. As a nutritionist and a chiropractic physician Dr Dustman understands the importance of disease prevention and staying healthy, especially with something as deadly as heart disease.

Despite constant advances in treatment and a barrage of health advice and information, Heart Disease is still the number one killer of Americans, both men and women. In fact, many people are suprised to learn that heart disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined! A heart attack occurs in the US every twenty-three seconds!

Another suprising fact is that one half of all heart attacks occur in people with normal cholesterol levels. Study after study in the medical journals show that the accepted link between dietary cholesterol and heart disease is false. Cholesterol is not causing heart disease and heart attacks, inflammation is!

Inflammation is the true cause of heart disease. Inflammation not only starts the heart disease process, but helps it progress, and is central in causing heart attacks as well. Inflammation also causes many other modern health problems such as:

  • Type II diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Alzheimer's
  • Some types of cancer
  • Peripheral vascular disease
  • Arthritis
