Pain Management

There are many methods for pain management and there are pain clinics everywhere. Most pain clinics take only one approach to controling a patient's pain and that method is typically prescription medication (pills). This brings with it the possibility of abuse, addiction, dependency, and obviously harmful side effects.

The buzz lately seems to be multidisciplinary clinics, a facility that has medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy all under one roof. While this seems to be a new idea to some, I am no stranger to multidisciplinary clinics. I have successfully used this concept for over fifteen years and have owned, operated, and worked with many multidisciplinary facilities. The one KEY element missing from most of these "new" clinics is in my opinion the most vital; clinical nutrition focusing on pain management. This is the crucial key component which I routinely provide and that is what makes my integrated pain management approach successful. While your pain management program (at my clinic) may involve prescription medication, injections, and/or therapies, you can be assured it will always include an effective clinical nutrition foundation to best provide results from the overall program.

Most pain based conditions can be treated with properly integrated pain management that focuses on a nutritionally sound foundation, thereby improving results and limiting side effects and harm to the patient.

Here is a list of just a few of the conditions treated on a regular basis:

  • Headaches
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • RSD
  • Neuropathic pain
  • Diabetic Neuropathy
  • Central and Peripheral Sesitizations
  • Trauma pain
  • Raynauds
  • Post-surgical pain
  • Neuralgias
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Radiculopathies

The latest addition to our integrated pain management approach is LLLT (low level light therapy) by way of our various laser systems. This addition to our pain management protocol has allowed us to go even further in our ability to work with pain conditions where traditional (allopathic) methods have failed.
